Victron Energy Argofet battery isolators allow simultaneous charging of two or more batteries from one alternator (or a single output battery charger), without connecting the batteries together. 12/24 Volt auto ranging: Victron Energy Argofet battery isolators will automatically adjust to a 12V or 24V system. Victron Energy Argofet battery isolators have virtually no voltage loss. Voltage drop is less than 0.02 Volt at low current and averages 0.1 Volt at higher currents.
The Victron Energy ArgoFET isolator itself seems solid, but the installation instructions were a bit vague for me. After a few tries, I managed to get it running without too much hassle. It does the job well once it’s set up, just be prepared for some trial and error!

Great, but arrived a bit scratched
I was excited to get the Victron isolator for my RV, and while it functions great at 200 amps, I was a little disappointed to see some scratches on the casing when it arrived. Not a dealbreaker since it works well, but I expected better packaging.

Stopped working after a few weeks
I really wanted to like this product since it seemed perfect for my camping needs, but unfortunately the Victron Energy ArgoFET isolator stopped working after just three weeks. I followed all the instructions carefully, so I’m not sure what went wrong. Very frustrating!
