I bought this ring and pinion gear set for my truck, but the installation was trickier than I expected. The gears seem solid, but the instructions could use some better clarity. Once installed, though, the performance is pretty good!

Not What I Expected
Unfortunately, my ring and pinion gear set arrived with some cosmetic damage. It took a little while to get a replacement, but the gears do work fine. Just wish the shipping had been better. Now that it's set up, I'm happy with the performance!

I replaced the old gears in my GM 8.5 with this ZG GM8 set, and wow, what a difference! Acceleration is much snappier. Just make sure you have a pro do the install unless you're really handy. Love the performance boost!
