Trans-Dapt Performance started offering transmission adapters and engine swap motor mounts back in 1959. Our motor mounts make mounting your transplanted engine to the chassis easier, and more secure.
Unfortunately, my experience with the Trans-Dapt 4228 motor mount kit was not great. The mounts started to show signs of wear after only a month. I expected better durability for the price. Not sure if I would recommend this kit.

Decent kit but some missing parts
The Trans-Dapt 4228 motor mount kit works well but came with a couple of bolts not included. I had to make a trip to the hardware store which was frustrating. Once I had everything, the install went smoothly and the mounts are holding up fine!

Helpful for my engine swap!
I used this Trans-Dapt motor mount kit for an engine swap in my old Chevy. It did the job, and I appreciate how well it aligns everything. Just be aware that the instructions could use a bit more detail, but if you're handy, you'll figure it out.
