Removes brake fluid, grease, dirt and soot from brake linings, cylinders, springs, drums, C.V. joints, clutches and discs. A highly flammable cleaner and degreaser that can also be used as engine starter. This product evaporates quickly leaving no residue. Low VOC formula, highly flammable. Not for sale in CA, CO, CT, DE, MD, NH, NY, RI and UT.
Used this SQ brake cleaner on my motorcycle brakes and it did a good job. The non-chlorinated formula seems to work just fine, and I appreciate that it’s safer to use. I just wish the can was a little bigger for the price!

Works Well, Instructions Could Be Clearer
I had to look up how to use this brake cleaner properly because the instructions on the can weren’t super clear. Once I figured it out, it cleaned my brake components nicely without any issues. Just wish the directions were a bit better!

Good Product, A Bit Pricey
The SQ brake cleaner does its job well, but I feel like it’s a bit on the expensive side for the size. The 14.5 oz can lasts a while, but I wish it were more affordable. Still, it’s effective for automotive use and doesn't leave a residue.
