Cargo Bars (also called cargo load locks or load distribution bars) are steel or aluminum beams that are used to organize cargo or hold it in place. This is to prevent damage to the cargo. This Strong Steel Pickup Truck Bar is made with round steel tubbing and a jack mechanism for a strong, sturdy bar. This bar is perfect for holding cargo in place or bracing items from moving in the bed of your truck. Some Assembly Required.
The cargo bar itself is great and fits my truck perfectly, but I had some trouble figuring out how to adjust it properly at first. More clear instructions would have helped. Once I got it sorted, it held my cargo in place nicely, so I'm happy with it overall!

Not as Easy to Adjust as I'd Hoped
While the cargo bar is good quality, I found it a bit difficult to adjust the length between 50 and 65 inches. It took some extra effort to get it to fit snugly in my truck bed. I’m still using it, but it can be a hassle when I need to change it up. Just be prepared for some fidgeting!

Solid Build but a Bit Heavy
This cargo pickup bar is made of thick steel, which gives it a strong feel. I use it to keep my tools from rolling around in the back of my truck. However, it is a little heavier than I expected—just something to keep in mind if you're looking for something lightweight.
