This Intermediate Foam Polishing Pad offers a sophisticated balance of refinement and durability, created for use with Dual Action polishers during the final stages of paint correction. This foam pad features an open cell structure, which allows polishing compounds to flow through the pad and reduces the tendency for clogging during use. Its center ventilation design helps dissipate heat, lowering pad temperature and reducing stress on both pad and surface during extended polishing sessions. Measuring to fit standard Dual Action backing plates, the pad is ideal for corrections or finishing passes, smoothing out light swirl marks and micro defects while enhancing gloss. Its truncated cone shape helps maintain contact with curved or contoured panels, while the foam retains its resilience through repeated cycles. To maintain longevity, rinse the pad thoroughly with warm water and mild soap after each session, squeeze gently to remove excess moisture (avoid twisting) and air-dry foam side down. The pad is built to resist tearing or deformation when properly cared for. Whether refining after heavier correction or applying your final finish, this foam polishing pad provides controlled refinement while meeting the demands of precision surface work.
Unfortunately, these pads did not meet my expectations. They work okay for light correction, but I found them lacking for severe paint issues. The color is pretty, but performance-wise, they're just average.

Impressive performance, but wear out quickly
I bought this pack of Rupes pads for my detailing business. While they are great for cutting and improving paint correction, I noticed they wear out faster than expected. I'll still use them, but I wish they had better durability!

Decent pads, but a bit pricey
These polishing pads from Rupes do the job well, especially for paint correction. However, I think they are a bit on the expensive side. They improve the cut and finish nicely, but I wish they were a little cheaper. Still, a good buy if you're serious about detailing.

Good pads but arrived late
The polishing pads are really effective and do improve the cut. I used them on my car and was pleased with the results. However, they arrived a couple of days later than expected which was slightly annoying. Still worth it!
