Koike's standard Hose to Hose Coupler Set, the Sentinel Safety-Z, uses a unique reverse disconnect feature that will not come a part with a straight pull. This feature prevents accidental release of the coupler even when pulled over the edges of steel plates. The Sentinel Safety-Z is designed for heavy use such as shipbuilding, steel service centers, construction, metal fabrication, educational institutes and demolition.
The coupler set works fine for my oxy-fuel needs, and I appreciate that it's UL-listed. However, shipping was slower than expected, which was a bit frustrating. Would still recommend for its safety features!

Great for safety, but tricky setup
I appreciate the leak-proof design, but I found the installation to be a bit tricky. The instructions weren't very clear. Once set up, it works great for my oxy-fuel projects!

Not what I expected
While the coupler set does the job, I thought it would be a bit more robust. The design looks good, but it feels slightly cheaper than anticipated. It works alright, though.

Arrived damaged, disappointed
Unfortunately, my Koike coupler set arrived with a dent and didn’t work properly. I tried to contact support, but it took a while to get a response. Hoping for a better outcome next time!
