XTC is a high temperature/heat resistant coating formulated specifically to protect metal surfaces operating at temperatures from 500 F to 1200 F. With proper preparation, XTC provides outstanding adhesion, film integrity, weathering, and thermal shock-resistance throughout this entire temperature range, and is guaranteed not to burn off!
This KBS coating is a must-have for anyone doing DIY projects involving heat. I applied it to my motorcycle exhaust and it looks fantastic! The finish is flawless, and the 12 fl oz size was just right for my needs. Highly recommend trying it out if you’re in the same boat.

Solid product but tricky to apply
I found the KBS Coatings Flame Blue a little tricky to apply evenly, which was frustrating. I managed to get it right, but it took extra effort. Once set, it looks great and has held up against high temperatures, which is fantastic considering its price.

Not what I expected
I was really looking forward to the KBS Xtreme Temperature Coating, but when it arrived, the blue was a lot darker than the pictures showed. It’s alright for my project, but I was hoping for a brighter finish. Just be aware the color might differ from what you see online.

Great heat resistance for my projects
I used the KBS Coatings Flame Blue Xtreme Temperature Coating for a metal art piece, and it holds up beautifully! The 12 oz bottle was plenty for my needs, and the color looks stunning. I’ve had no issues with it chipping or fading even after exposure to high heat.

Decent product, mixed feelings
The KBS Flame Blue coating does a good job on my grill, but I expected the application to be smoother. It took a few tries to get an even coat. However, the color is vibrant and it seems to withstand heat well after curing, so I'll keep using it.
