I ordered this expecting a smooth finish, but the surface had some rough spots. It's usable, but I was a bit disappointed with the quality control. It did fit my application, but I would suggest checking for defects before starting your project.

Good quality but tricky to weld
The weld-on bung feels really sturdy and looks great on my setup. However, I had a bit of trouble getting it to weld correctly because of the aluminum. After some practice, it worked fine, but I was frustrated at first.
