Our Aerosol Vinyl, Plastic and Carpet dye is available in forty one colors and computer matched to O.E.M. standards. Use confidently to restore, renew, and rejuvenate automotive carpet, vinyl, and plastic. Works great on carpets and mats that are just too stained to come perfectly clean. Easy to blend into faded fiber areas of carpets. An excellent product to use to cover bleach stains and red dyes. Also, can be used with fabulous results to dye vinyl and plastic components. This plastic & carpet works great to hide and cover blemishes in your vehicles carpet. No longer worry about pesky discolorations in your vehicles interior. This dye works to restore fabrics to their original tint. Car enthusiasts, professional detailers, and the average person can repair their automobiles matting to its original shade. Please note that the color swatch is approximate. Due to the variations of web browsers and monitors it is impossible to show colors precisely over the web. Metallic colors especially cannot be rendered properly. Intended for automotive carpets only, not suggested for household use. All dyes are California / OTC VOC Compliant.
Unfortunately, the Hi-Tech silver aerosol dye didn't meet my expectations. The color was darker than shown, and it didn't cover my old carpet stains well. I wish I had gone with a different product instead.

Perfect for my car's interior
I used the Hi-Tech silver metallic dye on my car's carpet, and it worked wonders! It covered stains well, and the metallic look really stands out. Just a heads up, the drying time was longer than I anticipated, but it was worth the wait!

A fun DIY project

Mixed feelings about the color
The Hi-Tech carpet dye was easy to use and applied smoothly, but the silver metallic finish ended up looking a bit different than I expected. It’s still nice, but I had imagined it would be brighter. It's good for a temporary refresh, though.

Not as easy as it looks
I was excited to use this Hi-Tech carpet dye, but I found the process a bit tricky. The spray nozzle clogged a couple of times, and I had to reapply in some spots. The metallic finish does look nice once it’s on, but expect some trial and error.
