Hot Rod Sleeve is thermal sleeving capable of withstanding 1100 degree Fahrenheit continuous. This non-flammable sleeve has a special weave that allows it to expand and contract over fittings. In addition, it has that old school sleeve look with modern heat shield technology. Ideal for shielding fuel lines - helping to stop vapor lock, protect sensitive wire looms from close proximity heat, shield brake lines and hoses, and stop clutch cables from melting. This enables you to fit things into those tight places, and Heatshield Products know custom builds have lots of tight places. Available in 10 feet and 100 feet rolls.
I installed the 3/8" hot rod sleeve on my exhaust lines, and while it offers great heat resistance, it was a really tight fit. Make sure to measure carefully! It does the job well once it's on, though. Just a bit of a hassle during installation.

Decent Product but Hard to Cut
The insulation works well, but I found cutting the 100 ft roll to size was tougher than expected. I had to use a knife instead of scissors to get a clean cut. It's effective, though, and really does protect my lines from heat!

Great Quality but Slow Shipping
The quality of this heat shield is top-notch. I liked the thickness and how easy it was to wrap around my 3/8" lines. However, the shipping took longer than promised, which was a bit frustrating. I'd still buy it again!

Perfect for My Hot Rod Project
I recently used the Heatshield Products hot rod sleeve for my 1970 Camaro restoration. The 3/8" diameter fit perfectly over my fuel lines, and it really helped reduce heat soak. It's a must-have for anyone looking to improve their engine bay temperature management!

Not What I Expected
I was disappointed when I opened the package. The sleeve looked a bit different in person than what I anticipated. It still works but the texture isn't what I thought it would be. It does protect against heat, just not as expected.
