The GearWrench 280 Bendix drum brake spring tool is a lifesaver. I used it for a brake job on my truck, and it made the spring removal and install super easy. The black finish feels durable and it fits perfectly in my toolbox. Definitely a must for anyone working on drum brakes!

Arrived damaged, not happy!
Unfortunately, my GearWrench brake spring tool arrived with a bent tip, which made it unusable right out of the box. I was really looking forward to using it for my drum brakes. Contacted support for a return, but it's been a hassle. Not impressed with the quality control.

Solid but could use improvements
I found the GearWrench drum brake spring tool to be pretty effective, but the instructions were not very clear. It took me a few tries to figure it out. Once I got the hang of it, though, it worked well for my brake job. Just wish it came with a manual that was easier to understand.
