I recently installed the Detroit Axle front brake kit on my 2005 Honda Pilot and I’m really impressed. The drilled and slotted rotors make a noticeable difference in stopping power, and the ceramic pads are super quiet. Installation was straightforward, which is a big plus for someone like me who likes to DIY.

Solid upgrade for my vehicle
The brake kit from Detroit Axle fits perfectly on my 2004 Honda Pilot. I feel safer driving now, especially in heavy traffic. The only downside was that it took a little longer to arrive than I expected but it was worth the wait for the quality performance.

Not what I expected
I had high hopes for these brakes, but unfortunately, they started squeaking after just a couple of weeks. The drilled and slotted design looked great, but I think I got a defective set. Not sure I’d buy them again.

Good brakes, shipping was slow
The front brake kit works well on my 2008 Pilot, stopping power is fantastic, but it took longer to arrive than what I was told. I almost thought about canceling the order. All in all, they perform nicely, so it ends up being a decent buy.

Decent brakes, but minor issues
I was happy with the performance of the Detroit Axle brake kit on my 2006 Pilot, but I did have some trouble aligning the rotors during install. They work well now, but the packaging had a dent in it when it arrived. Still, the brakes feel smooth and responsive.
