For the most permanent results heat water to 150 degrees and then mix with the dye concentrate. Apply immediately so the dye mixture is as hot as possible to achieve the most permanent results. Left over dye can be reheated to the recommended 150 degrees for any future applications. This product is formulated for Automotive use only, if used for anything other than automotive carpets we cannot guarantee satisfactory results. Our liquid auto carpet dye is perfect to use on faded carpets that need some good rejuvenation. We stock 19 popular colors of liquid carpet dyes that are sure to match just about all car interiors. If your auto carpets have lost their pop and rejuvenate faded carpet then our liquid carpet dyes are a good choice. The shadow blue dye from Detail King worked well on my carpet, but I found the application process a bit challenging. The color turned out great, but I had to redo a few areas because I was unsure of the technique. Overall, I’m happy with the results!

Decent dye, but tough to follow instructions
The Detail King carpet dye works decently, but I found the instructions to be a bit unclear. I managed to get it done, but it took longer than expected. The shadow blue is nice, though, and covers well once applied right!

Not as vibrant as expected
I was excited to try the Detail King shadow blue dye, but it wasn’t as vibrant as I thought it would be. It still worked okay, just a bit duller than in the photos. I guess it depends on the carpet material, but I was hoping for a brighter shade.

Revived my old carpets!
I bought the shadow blue dye to touch up my aging car carpets, and wow, what a difference! It went on easily and dried quickly. I’d definitely recommend it if you need to breathe new life into your interiors.

Nice dye, but delivery was late
I really like the Detail King carpet dye in shadow blue. It does a great job covering up old stains, but I had a bit of a delay with shipping, which was annoying. Once I received it, I had no issues at all with the dye itself!
