Ideal for rebuilding engines where more demanding use is anticipated, such as heavy duty, motorsports, or street performance. As it is the most versatile replacement engine bearing, P-Series is suitable for most OE applications. Due to the increased load capacity of the Tri-Metal design, it is a suitable upgrade from Bi-Metal engine bearings.
These Clevite connecting rod bearings are solid, but I did have to wait longer than expected for them to arrive. The bearings worked well once I got them installed, so I’m happy with the quality, just wish shipping would have been faster.

Good quality bearings for my rebuild

Decent bearings, just a little disappointed
I expected great things from Clevite, but the CB 1227P bearings weren’t as snug as I hoped. They worked for my connecting rods, but the installation process took longer due to some fitting issues. Not a complete loss, but I expected better.
