The Carlstar/Carlisle Sport Trail is a specialty trailer tire thats designed for use on towable utility, boat, horse and stock, and cargo trailers. A bias ply tire that offers radial tire like capabilities, the Sport Trails tread and contour reduce heat build-up and endurance for a longer tread life. A special rubber compound lowers rolling resistance for better fuel efficiency, and the Sport Trails rugged sidewall guards the tire and wheel against damage from punctures and bruises for a longer tread life. Additionally, the Sport Trail features zigzag grooves that funnel water out of the tread to improve wet traction for better hydroplaning resistance.
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with these Carlisle trailer tires. One of them arrived with a noticeable defect, and it looked like it had been damaged in transit. I had to return it, which was frustrating. I expected better quality for the price.

Solid tire for my boat trailer
I got these Carlisle Sport Trail tires for my boat trailer, and they work great! The tread is nice and grippy, and I've had no issues even on wet roads. They fit perfectly on my 8" rims, and the 71J load rating gives me peace of mind when hauling my boat. Worth every penny!

Good tire but slow shipping
I bought these trailer tires a few weeks ago for my utility trailer. They seem sturdy, and the size is just right for my 8" wheels. However, I was disappointed with the shipping speed; it took an extra week to arrive. Other than that, they work well and look good!

Decent tire but installation was tricky
Got these Carlisle tires for a small trailer. They seem okay, but the installation took longer than expected. The fit on the 8" rims was a bit snug, and I had to fight with it a bit. Just a heads up if you're not used to changing tires!
