Great replacement for my Ford!
I installed this Dorman VVT solenoid on my 2008 Ford Escape and it works like a charm. The variable valve timing is back to normal, and my engine runs so much smoother now. Installation was pretty straightforward too!

Decent part, but a bit tricky to install
The Dorman VVT solenoid did its job on my 2010 Ford Fusion, but man, the installation wasn't the easiest. The instructions could use some work — took me a couple of hours to figure it out. Performance is solid now, though.

Mediocre packaging, but part works
The VVT solenoid arrived with slightly dented packaging, which worried me at first. However, after installing it in my 2012 Ford Explorer, it seems to be functioning properly. Just wish the packaging was better to avoid that initial scare.
